At Greengate, we're honoured to have the chance to enrich the lives of the people living in our integrated retirement living and boutique aged care villages. It's a responsibility we love, and will never take for granted. Whether you're one of our delightful residents, the chef, nurse or handyman, we thrive together because we're all part of the family.   

It all started with the ‘Mum and Dad’ test. 

When we established Greengate, we created a simple way to measure ourselves: would we be happy for our Mums and Dads to live in one of our villages? It’s a measurement that’s still in place at Greengate and the reason why we do what we do.  

Greengate communities are different… from our people to our places. Different in the training and skills of the staff, the retention of independence, availability of all levels of care, our architecture, sense of space and light, community activities and areas. We call it Boutique Living and Caring because it is planned by individuals for individuals.  There’s no ‘one-size-fits-all’ at a Greengate Village. 

Each of our seniors villages across Sydney and Brisbane have their own style and personality. Each is a place we’d be proud to be the address of our Mums and Dads. Each is a place you'd be proud to call home.  

Retire to the Area you Know and Love 

Your environment makes a big difference to your wellbeing, and so much of that is about the people that surround you. That's why we design our villages to have a greater sense of community with large get-together areas, that others might choose to fill with apartments. We choose to fill them with life and laughter. From coffee clubs to Pilates and Tai Chi, there's a myriad of activities that happen naturally. 

When the tranquillity of your own retirement apartment is so close, you'd be forgiven for retreating to the generous, light and spacious haven of home. With beautiful indoor and refreshing outdoor spaces, it's the perfect way to enjoy a little quiet time with a book, or a more boisterous time with old friends, and new neighbours. 

Each of our independent living apartments are quietly clever with features like soft touch drawers, recessed sliding door frames and ergometric counter heights. Thoughtful touches that ensure life and ageing at home are seamless and stress-free. For the peace of mind, help is always close at hand, if you ever need it. Simply pick up the phone or press a button. Someone will be there. 

Around-the-clock Care is Right on your Doorstep 

Part of our caring philosophy is to have personal aged care homes on the same site as our independent apartments. For those who require 24-hour care or a more supportive environment, there's every level of care available within each address in our boutique aged care homes. Whether you’re making the transition from one of our retirement apartments, or are new to the village, you can enjoy an ongoing connection and shared events with the entire community.
