Retirement living in the Wimmera provides an ideal environment for retirement in the country.
The Wimmera is known for its natural heritage, in particular the Grampians National Park is a well-known attraction. The Grampians are famous for its many Aboriginal artefacts and unique flora and fauna and covers over 170,000 hectares.
The Grampians is a popular holiday spot and are tilted and rugged, with sandstone cliffs off the eastern side to admire.

There are many industries dependent on the Grampians, including wine production, beef and dairy industries among others.

The region’s climate semi-arid to sub-humid, summers are known to be hot, averaging a maximum of 30 degrees during the day. In winter an average day can reach 15 degrees.
